Junior Seahawks
The Wilmington Junior Seahawks is a Tier II hockey program that skates out of Polar Ice Wilmington Ice House and competes in the Eastern Junior Elite Prospects League. Junior Seahawk hockey is a culture within itself. It is a family that is selfless, dedicated, and committed to making the team the main focus. Junior Seahawks hockey strives to build a championship tradition – one practice, one game at a time.
Junior Seahawk Hockey consists of kids that love to play the game of hockey. We are here to not only grow and bond together as an association and teammates but to represent the community of Wilmington and the greater Cape Fear region with character and pride. Junior Seahawk hockey is here to build and sustain a championship culture that the players, parents, and the Cape Fear region can be proud to support. We play hard, play smart, and play together.
In building a championship culture within the Junior Seahawks we accept our roles, and in doing so, the team is the focus. We work hard every practice & game, play unselfishly by putting the team first, and play as one unit instead of a group of individuals. As members of the Junior Seahawks, we hold each other accountable to train like champions, compete relentlessly, and overcome all obstacles and adversities as a team.
