Dennis Levin originally from Belarus moved to Brooklyn, NY at age 10. He discovered his passion for hockey at the age of 11 during a family trip to the Catskills Mountains, where he found himself drawn to a small ice rink in the hotel basement. From that moment on, weekends were spent at the local rink, where he and his best friend immersed themselves with ice skating, attending two sessions of public skate most Saturdays and Sundays.
It was during these years that Dennis’s love for hockey truly flourished. Between skating sessions, he watched hockey practices and games, captivated by the sport's intensity and skill. This passion led to an invitation from one of the in-house coaches to join the house league, marking the beginning of his organized hockey journey.
Upon relocating to Northern New Jersey at the age of 14, Dennis continued his hockey pursuits, playing another year of house hockey before transitioning to travel hockey with the NJ Mavericks (now known as the NJ Avalanche). For the next four years, he dedicated himself to the sport, honing his skills and fostering lifelong lessons
Though life eventually led him away from the rink, it wasn't until 25 years later that Dennis found himself back on the ice, thanks to his son's introduction to the sport. His return to hockey has reignited his passion for the game, driving him to share his knowledge and love of the sport as a youth hockey head coach for the 10U team, where his son proudly plays alongside his teammates.
With his experience and a deep-rooted love for hockey, Dennis is dedicated to instilling the same passion and enthusiasm for the sport in the next generation of players, both on and off the ice.
Dennis lives in Hampstead with his wife Rona and their kids Charlotte 13, Ethan 10 Aleksander 6 they all share in his love of the ice, his boys play hockey and his daughter figure skates.

Dan’s hockey journey started at age 5, when the elementary school he attended in West Allis, WI, handed out a flyer for a local organization named Southeastern Hockey Association of Wisconsin (SHAW). He played the entirety of his youth with SHAW both in their house league and travel teams. During his time with SHAW’s high school team he was selected to the Fox Valley High School Hockey League Southern All-Star team during his sophomore through senior years. During his youth, he attended a variety of camps both locally and around the Midwest. At a young age, he became fascinated with helping younger players learn the game of hockey. He assisted with his younger brother’s teams as well as being a mentor at one of the local camps run by former pro players.
After ending his youth hockey career, he joined the United States Marine Corps and served honorably for 9 and ½ Years. During his tenure with the Marine Corps he was a Nuclear, Biological, and Chemical Defense Specialist, a Combat Marksmanship Coach, and a Criminal Investigator.
While stationed at Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, San Diego, CA he met his wife, Jennifer and had his son, Rhyder. While in San Diego he participated in a charity hockey game which raised money for the local youth hockey association and the Wounded Warrior Project.
After being honorably discharged from the Marine Corps Dan moved back to Wisconsin which is where his daughter was born and his son Rhyder began his hockey journey. Dan became a coach with the Milwaukee Area Youth Hockey Association (MAYHA). During his time with MAYHA, Dan coached 8u, 14u, 16u, and 18u. Dan also was the Hockey Director for three years at MAYHA. During which time he created a summer camp aimed at developing 8u players as well as creating a goalie training program. When the pandemic happened, MAYHA was unable to continue due dwindling numbers. Dan and Rhyder were absorbed into SHAW where Rhyder became a full-time goalie and Dan was offered the Goalie Coordinator position.
In 2023 Dan and his family moved to North Carolina to be closer to his wife’s family. Dan was named the 10u Head Coach last year for the Jr. Seahawks. Last season his dedication to the players allowed them to grow individually and as a team. His dedication to the game and the players are unmatched.
